Microinfusion

What is Microinfusion?

Microinfusion uses microchannels to improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. The tiny needles help delivers small amounts of serum just under the dermis at a uniform depth. The serum is completely customized to your concerns. Some serum cocktails include Botox to decrease sebum production and calm rosacea, hyaluronic acid fillers to plump up dehydrated skin, antioxidants to protect the dermal layers, and even growth factors to promote cellular growth. This no-downtime facial is perfect for red-carpet events or weddings.

How Microinfusion works

The needles penetrate at a precise depth of 600 micrometers, thinner than a human hair. Each needle is hollow, and the tool has a chamber designed to be filled with a concoction of skin-boosting ingredients. Unlike dermal rollers, a stamping technique ensures consistent penetration. Because the treatment is completely individualized, you are able to choose the exact skin concerns you want to address. Cocktails can include: Neurotoxin, Hyaluronic Acid Filler, Growth Factors and Pigment reducers.

What to expect during your appointment

Your appointment will begin with a discussion of what skin issues you want to work on. After cleansing the skin, we’ll mix your special cocktail. Microinfusion Facial is administered by stamping the skin, and we will cover the entire treatment area multiple times, concentrating on stubborn areas. You’ll feel a mild pressing sensation that may be accentuated over bony prominences, but for the most part, the facial is non-painful and can even be soothing. Overall treatment takes about 20-30- and involves no downtime or recovery, although some patients may see redness and slight swelling for a few days at the treatment site.. We expect patients to return to their activity right after the treatment and back to their normal skincare regimen 6 hours after the Microinfusion Facial.

Length of Results

Most patients see great results from just 1 treatment, that will last up to 3-4 months. Occasionally when is skin is very dry and wrinkled, we will recommend 2 treatments. Procedure can be done as often as every 1-3

months and doing several treatments throughout the year will continue to improve the overall appearance of skin.

Results are seen within 3-7 days. The post-procedure glow makes it an ideal facial prior to any big event.

How is this different than having Hyaluronic acid dermal fillers injected in my face?

The same high quality, FDA-approved Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers are utilized. We can inject Hyaluronic acid Dermal deeper into the tissues to help restore volume. This allows us to plump lips, lift cheeks and fill lines. Using them with a micoinfusion allows us to place the Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Fillers in micro droplets throughout the skin of the entire face to smooth the actual skin layer. It is the same product used in different ways to treat different concerns.

How is this different from having Botox injections?

Botox can be safely used to treat a variety of concerns including frown lines, horizontal forehead lines, crows feet, chin dimpling and down-turned smiles.

In a Microinfusion, we are injecting Botox in very small quantities throughout the face to improve fine lines, shrink pores and decrease redness. It will not relax muscles to prevent wrinkles the same way Botox injected into the forehead or crow’s feet. A Microinfusion Facial is a rejuvenation technique.
